July 23 is National Vanilla Ice Cream Day

And it's the right time nearing the end of July. This recipe is from PastrySampler.com:

Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 c cream
  • 1 c cold water
  • 1 T vanilla
Mix all ingredients together and freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's suggestions. Transfer to airtight container and freeze until firm.
